Hello everyone,
 
 Well, for those of you who are incredibly massive geeks (which is probably
all of you and good on you for it), we are organizing an Anime RPG, using the
rules developed by Ron Keating (who is both brilliant and has way too much
time on his hands). The RPG format is very flexible so if you can dream it,
you can pretty much be it, from a space pirate to a magical girl to a Yakuza
hitman. However, I'd like to make one thing clear: original characters only! I
know Tuxedo Mask is awesome but this isn't that kind of RPG.
 
 Our first session will be at Veni Vedi Vici '09, the Team Diabetes fundraiser
this Saturday, although if it goes well I hope to have many more. Ron's
website, containing the RPG rules and forums, is found at
http://www.timecave.net/animerpg/. We'll also be posting a link to it at the
Anime Society website. I'd ask everyone who wants to participate to please
read the rules beforehand and try to get some idea of the kind of character
you want to play, although of course both Ron and the GM will be there to help
explain things. Gameplay and rules are very simple so you should be able to
get the hang of it no time.  
 
 Looking forward to seeing everyone there. This RPG is a lot of fun so it
should be a blast!
