Hello all!
 Well, it seems like we just got you out of the room last showing and now it's
that time again! We have anime this Friday (September 25) at 7:30. As far as
we know, we're in room A-1046 but we've been having some trouble with room
bookings this semester so this may be subject to change. If so, we'll keep you
posted. 
 First of all, the tape sale we advertised last week unfortunately had to be
cancelled because of rain so we're running it this Friday instead. For those
of you who don't know, we are selling off the society's extensive anime tape
collection for $1 a piece. We encourage you all to come by, we've got some
great stuff!
 As some of you remember, last year we had an American Anime themed night
around this time and, since it was so much fun, we've decided to do it again
this year. We're showing:
 
Teen Titans
 
 In a major city, Robin the Boy Wonder leads his own team of superheroes, The
Teen Titans. With his teammates, the dark Raven, the powerful Cyborg, the
flighty alien princess Starfire and the flippant Beast Boy; the team battles
the forces of evil where ever they appear like the the enigmatic Slade, the
diabolical Brother Blood or the malevolently cosmic Trigon.
 
Cybersix
 
 Cybersix is the name of a powerful advanced female genetic construct android
who is the creation of malevolent scientist named Von Richter. He considers
her a failed creation owing to her indomitable free will and she was forced to
escape to avoid termination by her creator. Now she hides in regular society
as a male teacher named Adrienne Seideleman, but she stalks the night as a
caped superhero. Vowing eternal opposition to the plans of her creator and his
henchmen, she protects her new found world and friend and seeks the humanity
that her creator denied from her. (And yes, we know Cybersix was created in
Argentina but hey, that's South America).
 
Jackie Chan Adventures - because we all need a little moooaaaah Uncle in our
lives
 
 Jackie Chan, an amateur archelogist, would prefer to quietly do his work for
the local university, but fate has dealt another hand. That happens when he
finds a shield containing a talisman is but the first of a dozen pursued by a
criminal organization called The Dark Hand led a man called Valmont and guided
by a spirit called Shendu. Against this Jackie, his niece Jade, and their
uncle must cooperate with the secret law enforcement organization, Section 13,
to oppose this threat. Along the way, our heroes must face wild dangers that
will demand all of Jackie's skill in martial arts and his daring to overcome.
